The Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) launched the ‘High Tea With Ambassador Series’. The Series, first of its kind in Afghanistan, aims to develop a forum of discussion and dialogue between Afghans and the international community.
AISS was honored to host H. E. Sir Richards Stagg, Ambassador of the Great Britain to Afghanistan, as the first guest speaker of the series. Mr. Stagg spoke on bilateral relations between the two countries both today in 2013 and beyond.
Members of the Afghan government, civil society, media, and lawmakers also attended the event.
Emphasis was placed on a greater cooperation approach to strengthen already historical ties on the road to peace, stability and sustainable future. H.E the Ambassador thereafter gave interview to select media outlets.
