The second part to ‘High Tea With The Ambassador’series hosted H.E. Mr. Guatam Mukhopadhaya, the Ambassador of India to Afghanistan. The esteemed Ambassador offered a very informative and candid lecture on bilateral and regional affairs. Afghan officials, both from government and non-governmental organizations, attended the event.
The two-part event featured a lecture by Mr. Mukhopadhaya followed by a Q & A with the audience; the guests enjoyed an open and frank exchange with the Ambassador that unfortunately arrived at the last days of H.E.’s tenure here in Afghanistan.
Mr. Mukhopadhaya is departing Kabul as his tenure in Afghanistan had come to an end. Nonetheless, he offered great deal of insight and knowledge on the intricacies of his Northwestern neighbor and the common challenges that both the countries face in the region today. Following the Lecture a farewell party was held in his honor that was attended by international dignitaries and notable Afghan officials.
