2nd Afghanistan- India Security Dialogue (AISD-II)

The second round of “Afghanistan-India Security Dialogue” co-organized by the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) and United Service Institute of India (USI) on October 16, 2016 in Herat, Afghanistan.
This dialogue was attended by a select number of Afghan officials, Member of Parliament, academia, civil society and media activists. From the Indian side, USI members (United Service Institute of India), Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses, senior journalist, scholars and Indian ambassador to Afghanistan attended the dialogue.
Three working sessions were held discussing the themes of “India-Afghanistan Partnership in Rebuilding Afghanistan”, “Regional Connectivity”, and “External Factors”. The dialogue was ended by closing remarks of Dr. Davood Moradian AISS General Director and Gen. Sharma the Indian delegation. The first round of Afghanistan-India Security Dialogue was held on March 14, 2016 in Delhi and hosted by United Service Institute of India (USI).
