The Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies congratulates Mr. Mohammad Davood Erfan on his promotion as AISS Head of its office in Herat- Western Region. Erfan has previously worked with the AISS as Advisor/Researcher. He is a Ph.D. student in political science at Ferdowsi University and has previously served as a professor at governmental and non- governmental universities. He has also worked in several NGOs with consulting titles, program and project manager, local monitoring and evaluation coordinator. Mr. Erfan has many scientific articles for various institutions and several researches and books in the field of political science.
