The Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) commemorated the victims of recent terrorist attacks in Paris by organizing a Sufi Music concert and reciting Persian poetry at the French Embassy in Kabul. The event brought together Afghan dignitaries and French diplomats to jointly mourn victims of terrorism around the world and to celebrate spirits of solidarity, humanity and compassion. The program started with the welcoming remarks by the French Ambassador to Afghanistan, H.E. Ambassador Jean Micheal Marlaud and AISS director’s message of condolence and solidarity. It was followed by reciting hymns of Kaja Abdullah Ansari and Sufi music performed by a Herat based Sufi group.
