Summary
Jaffer Abbas Mirza is a researcher. In 2016, he was awarded a Chevening scholarship to study a master's in Religion in Global Politics at SOAS, London. He has been writing and working on countering violent extremism (CVE) and freedom of religion or belief (FoRB) in South Asia. He focuses on civil society engagement and violence against religious minorities in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Before joining AISS, He was a researcher at the Coalition for Religious Equality and Inclusive Development (CREID) led by the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.
