Summary
Dr. Davood Moradian is the founder and the first director-general of the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS).
He earned a doctorate degree from University of St Andrews (Scotland). His doctorate thesis was on the conception of punishment in ancient Greece, Islam and International Justice.
