Cultural Banquet for Said Tayeb Jawad, Former Ambassador of Afghanistan to the United Kingdom

To continue the banquet for elites, the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies-AISS hosted Said Tayeb Jawad, former Ambassador of Afghanistan to the United Kingdom on September 16, 2020. The program was held to appreciate Said Tayeb Jawad's political and social activities. During the banquet, Said Reza Mohammadi, Cultural Advisor of the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies, spoke about Mr. Jawad's work and praised his initiatives in strengthening cultural community's relationship with the political community and the international community. A group of cultural figures and civil society activists attended the program.

Said Tayeb Jawad writes in the fields of literature, Sufism, history and politics. He is the co-author of the book "The realities of War and Rebuilding in Afghanistan" that was published in the United States in 2005; and his book "Be the Provider of Relief; Not an Inquisitor of Belief" in literature and Sufism was published in 2016 in Afghanistan. He has won numerous national and international awards and prizes for his political and social services, including the title of Best Diplomat in Asia-Pacific by Diplomat Magazine.

Said Tayeb Jawad has recently been appointed Afghanistan's ambassador to Moscow.
