Pierre Mayaudon, Ambassador and Head of European Union Delegation in Afghanistan, will leave Afghanistan shortly after his diplomatic mission ends. The Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies-AISS appreciates the efforts and activities of Ambassador Mayaudon. To honor him, AISS presents him a hand-woven silk handkerchief by Herat “Shalbafan” and a calligraphed painting in Nasta'liq script in Herat School of Art style.
