On March 11, 2019, AISS researcher, Dr. Omar Sadr, visited American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) and presented his research findings ‘Political Settlement of the Afghanistan Conflict: Divergent Models’ to the students and members of the faculty of the university. In the lecture session, Dr. Sadr assessed the nature of the conflict, the ongoing peace process and different models proposed by different constituencies for the settlement of the conflict in Afghanistan. The lecture session was ended with a Q&A interaction between the students and the AISS researcher.
