On Thursday,18th August, 2018 the first Ghazal farsi festival was held in Herat. More than hundreds poets, writers and artists from across the country participated in the event. At this program, the jury unveiled Mohammad Adham Kawa, Sayeed Musa Zakizadah and Jawid Nabizadah the winners among 81 competitors of this festival and also work of the other fourteen poets were appreciated by authorized committee.
Dr. Kawa Jebran, Mrs. Zahra Hussainzadah, Mr. Ebrahim Ameni, Mr. Ramin Arannizhad and Mr. Mujib Mehrdad were the jury of festival.
The event was co-organized by UNAMA Office in Herat, Directorate of Information and Culture of Herat, Sami Hamid Foundation, Arman Shahr Foundation, Ameri Publication, Fidayee Herawi Foundation and AISS regional office in Herat.
