Secretary General of Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs, Professor Paolo Cotta-Ramusino, paid a visit to the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) and met with the Director General of AISS. At the meeting, the two sides discussed the ongoing peace efforts in Afghanistan and the role of Pagwash in facilitating peace talks. Furthermore, the AISS Director briefed Professor Cotta on two recent AISS research reports with regards to peace talks.
