The Second Round of “Afghanistan, India and Iran Trilateral Dialogue”

The second round of “Afghanistan, India and Iran Trilateral Dialogue”, being organized by the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS), will be held in Panjshir and Kabul from 31 July till 3 August 2017.

The first round of “Afghanistan, India and Iran Trilateral Dialogue” was held in Tehran on 24-25 July 2016. This series of Trilateral Dialogues is being co-organized by the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) in collaboration with the Indian Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) and the Iranian Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (IPIS).

In the second round of dialogue, officials from the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, experts and officials from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of India will share their views on the expansion of relations between the three countries in political, security, economic and cultural spheres.
Also, on the sidelines of this meeting, the delegation of the two countries Iran and India will meet with the government officials of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. They shall participate in the bilateral meetings between Afghanistan and Iran and Afghanistan and India.
